Pretty mortaged a homely barrel for those- sadly it was my homely barrel!

and I must add. strangely on time . not bad.

I was going to pass on your kind words to those at NotP but due to the xmas/new year/ awards ceremony schedule they are a bit, over worked. So much so I have been hearing rumours the editor has even sobered up! So I didnt dare go near their offices.

Pretty got her baps out, thats not so strange.

Coming this weekend (if I can deliver it!) the biggest issue of NotP ever- massive 2013 debut issue! Dont miss it! (or else)

i think we're going to see the result of a week(?) without internet.

Boffins inform NotP a rescue plan for Petty has been discussed but is expected to take 10-14 days to carry out!

I still have a bad back from pulling my house. Those whippets are heavy you know.

I can assure you all that Petty certainly has not fallen asleep down the well. As of this morning the local constabulary had to set up a 500 meter cordon around the well to protect the innocent bystanders from what was described as "Ach well, kinda like a babby lamb bein' borne, but no quit' as nice, like." moments later the poor fellow had to be taken away for treatment, as blood began pouring out of his ears and for some reason, the tip of his nose.

Having been his comanchero for longer than a truck full of very long things, I have developed a skill, nay a talent for blocking out such sounds, as I have grown accustomed (After a fashion, at least) to these dreadful wails. For this very reason I was seconded to approach the well and check on Pettys well being.

The thing is, having known Petty for such a long time, I knew what was happening, and didn't need to approach the well, risking my hearing and sanity. However this fell apone deaf ears (not surprising really given that the official with the decibel meter had to be replaced after the meter blew up and embedded itself in a place where it may or may not have any real benefit) and I was dispatched to seek out my friend.

This is what transpired when I reached the well, and began making sure Petty was still alive and well....

"Oi! Petty! You down there?"

"Naw! Am sum'whir else! .... Ya big dafty! Whir di yi think ah wis?"

"Aw man, yir gonna have ti stop screetchin' and a belly achin', yet makin' them aw ill"

"Whit?! Am only singin!"

"Well.... gonni no!"

"How no?"

"Just gonni no"

"Ach, yir nae fun at aw"


He then began to hum. Loudly. Expectations are that the sonic resonance will build up over time. What will result of this, is as of now not known. We expect experts will make themselves known and provide answers. It is hoped they will do this before something bad happens and not after.
