Blighty's back to good old cold, grey, rain.

I actually got around to some cross country skiing today.   

fancy  me next i guess  it's embarrassing i haven't been skiing yet O_O

Well, I'm glad Ringo.   

It was my first trip of the year, so not too far.

Sorry to hear that, Norc. Still, it's something to look forward to.  

And I know all about struggling to actually get out and go skiing. I hardly went at all last year.

Me to Lance, but, really, I should develop webbed feet & flippers to live in UK, every morning when I get up its just fooking rain !   

It does seem to just want to rain all the time. Getting a bit bored of it all now!

Well, at least you don't have to feel any guilt about not getting out going skiing when there's perfect conditions then.   

Here it's pretty much been snowing every day for three weeks. Not a lot, but a bit each day.

I do get how the rain must get terribly boring. Not that I mind rain much, it can be rather nice. But with the darkness and the cold...

It has been raining for about 2 months now. It can be nice... but this isn't so much.

Ironic that as I write this the sun has peeked out of the clouds. Turn of the tide maybe (good ol' Manwe!)?

Yeah, I get that. Rain in winter is really different from, say, rain in summer.

Maybe someone heard you complain.   If Petty was here he would probably say it never hurts.

You stay in for a couple of hours and you get "snowed in."   

You need someone to rescue you from the outside Blue? I could walk there with my snowshoes, but I'm guessing Norc is closer. Somebody take that man a brew and a shovel.

Figgy - so much for you to learn. When you get back from foreign parts you must come and visit my temple of juice. I think a minimum stay of a year is the only way.

I'll admit I might have been slightly fascitious.   But that was 2-3 hours worth of snow, and it's still puring down outiside.

Anyway, it's all in order now.
