I've (kind of) heard back from three of the places I've applied to. I need to set up a phone interview for two of them, and I'm waiting on word from the third one (they had me take one of those silly word association personality type tests Rolling Eyes). Two are for itinerant piano teaching, the third is for a music store (not like a store with records and CD's, but a store with instruments and sheet music Razz). Interviews get me nervous, especially over the phone!

its waaaaay better over the phone. you can sit on your bed with all your notes and clever questions to ask spread out in front of you. also they cant see how nervous you are. unless its Skype. and then they can.

good luck  Thumbs Up

I hate the phone. Better to have face to face feedback than to have your words go off into the void. I've found from interviewing potential room-mates that you often get exactly the wrong impression over the phone.

Not trying to make Bungo more nervous, just commiserating.

I often get stuttery over the phone but, Ive found a way to conquer that, I stick my tongue out & pull funny faces at the phone, I pretend Im doing it at the person, they cant see me doing it so it makes me laugh, which, in turn makes me relax & I dont stutter !  Laughing
