Yeah but they take all the interesting bits out of their cars. like gears and proper steering, for the US market, then make the interiors out of crap cheap plastics.  Wink

Very Happy I assume that they just looked at previous US car manufacturing and just assumed that was how you liked your cars  Shrugging

Youll never have trouble parking  Nod and they can fair rattle along, hell you can rally the little buggers-

You'd be dead in a ditch after the first corner in a US car.

So rewatched the first video again as well, thoroughly enjoyable.  Nod

"Creek; creek; creek."  Very Happy

It has gotten rather wintery around here as well of late, and it's actually been semi snowing all day. So my insurmountable envy might have dropped somewhat. Wink

My view actually turned downright christmassy today:

Yeah, I saw that on the weather report. pale

I think I might stay off complaining about the weather for at least the next week, if you are getting that amount of rain. Well, unless we get rain as well that is. Which isn't all that unlikely. Rolling Eyes

Hopefully it will be great again by Christmas.  Nod  And then you might actually have the time to get out and about in it as well.

That's what I tell myself anyway. Laughing

Is this the sort of thing you meant when you were talking about the buses?

http://www.nrk.no/nordland/isglatt-fore-i-nordland-1.11408240

Shocked

Edit:
This was more what you were talking about I guess.

http://www.nrk.no/nordnytt/nok-en-buss-fikk-problemer-1.10885774

That does look rather scary. pale

Though I'm loving the language in both videos. Laughing

I was afraid that the snow would melt quickly, but instead we got more today. Laughing Unfortunately that meant I had to drive through the snow to get to work. Fortunately the snow didn't start until 6:30, which is about the same time I leave, so it hadn't layered much on the already-plowed roads. And by the time I left work, most of the roads had been re-plowed.

From your comment about language I hoped when I watched them I'd hear some good Nordic swearing. Maybe it was in the writing: written Fjordlandian always looks like swearing to me.

Oh, there was certainly some swearing in Norcs dialect in both the videos in the second link Halfwise.  Nod

In the first one by the bus driver and in the second one where the bus comes sliding backwards towards the guys car. It's a colorful language if you know what the words mean. Though it's maybe not as exuberant as one could expect.  Laughing

That looked damned scary, by the way. pale The bus driver did some job just keeping it on the road.

I hope none of those hills are on your everyday route.
