There's so little damage to the car that it almost looks like he did it on purpose, but I can't think you would do that without a ramp.... Shocked

Are parking spaces really that hard to find?  scratch

Around here, you see mostly sports cars in the ditches during the summer, and mostly 4x4's in the ditch during the winter.  I figure the sports cars themselves may be better at handling windy roads, and the 4x4's may be better at handling slick roads, but the people who buy them are planning on pushing the envelope, and include a high percentage of idiots.  Not the vehicle's fault at all!  Mad

Its motor bikes here this time of year and through the summer- bikers (or as my paramedic friend refers to them 'organ donors') emerge from a winter in the cities, go hell for leather round the country roads and the inevitable happens- every year.  Evil or Very Mad

Italian drivers .  Rolling Eyes  But I've heard even an Italian will pull off to the side of the road when they see an Austrian license plate coming. Is that true?

I've hitchhiked mountain roads in Austria. Diving over guardrails and a little bit of cliff dangling is just par for the course if you don't want to be a hood ornament.  pale

I have never heard of that. But anyone driving a Matiz is given a wide berth. My area has the highest car insurance after Naples. Thats pretty bad.
