Re: Tales of Home [5]
I was out and about early this morning and was witness to a rather cool sight.
The hill across the river Clyde from me had a massive cloud bank sitting on it that was slowly but surely rolling down over it like thick treacle and at the same time a sea mist was rising seemingly out of nowhere-
The entire upper half of the hill was gone, you can see street lights illuminating the underside of it as it rolled down-
Before long most of the hill was gone, either covered by the cloud or obscured by the mist-
It was also moving quite quickly southwards, notice the white lighthouse on the right of the picture-
Within a few minutes it too was gone-
Before long it was all gone and the mist had met the cloud-
And by the time I was nearly home it was catching me up-
This is the golf course at the end of my road, or would be if you could see it!-
And by the time I was at my own front gate it was in a big circle all around, this is the fog bank at the other end, looking in the opposite direction to the sea-

Re: Tales of Home [5]
John Carpenter doesnt live around there does he ?
You havent noticed some odd, wet looking seamen with hot burning eyes wandering about ?
you havent got any stolen treasure your refusing to return?
No ?
Oh well,
great pics indeed, I always get a 'wow' feeling when its natural, strange to me how something natural feels far more eerie or scarey than anything a film set churns out. I guess cos you are actually in it & not part of an audience, you are getting first hand experience.

Haha, yeah. Statistically they should be drowning, I guess. It's a bit too warm for it too stick to the ground, but it is properly snowing.
It's a strange time generally for this place, actually. We even had the northern lights two days ago. Though of course I missed it. Someone even got a picture of it south of Oslo.

Re: Tales of Home [5]
You could just go to the north of Scotland and then you dont have to leave the country.
