you walk on the ridge, it's on between one meter and two-three wide, on both side you have a free fall, more or less, on a 100-300 meters.

Yup- he should have made it a global filming for the exteriors not just NZ- but especially for the Shire, Rohan, Mordor and Minas Tirith. (Ok most of it)
