Don't worry, they don't kill the while fluffy ones anymore, they take the teens and they are not quite so cute.

Seal meat is lovely. It's pretty much identical to whale. And whale meat has been my favorite since I was a little girl.

We were talking the other day about the different amount of light you get in the different parts of Norway at this time of year. And I just realised you can se just that effect live by webcam.

So here is a picture taken of Oslo, Tromsø and Trondheim (which is close to where Ringo is from) taken at exactly the same time, about 14:50.

The difference is quite striking.

I think I would find so little daylight a bit oppressive. While we don't have all that much further south either at least we have some. These northerners must simply be more hardened than us I guess.

The first one is at the same spot as the bottom one of the pictures on the Wikipedia page. The other one is taken at the bottom of the hill.  

i am not that familiar
