Yeah bit was set to [private so not working for Azriel- could you just click play for a few seconds to see if it working now.
I cant check cause even if its set to private it will play for me either way.

Turnips make love not war  

I love the "Turnips" name ! But as I watch Pettys jigglings it reminds me of how well PJ CAN do it, if he thinks straight ! Get rid of the lame jokes & keep it as an action thriller, try keeping in line with the book & it works ! The sets & scenery are great in PJs films ! Locations are pretty good as is all the costumes etc, I KNOW I would have sung PJs name on high IF he stuck to LOTRs being a quality film. Its the unwanted crap that let him down. Its no good him saying he wanted more "Middle Earth" ! He had it ! fooking tons of it if he stuck to the book ! If you extract the popcorn but add the original, theyde been so much more honesty. You WOULD get all the ME you asked for !

as regards the Hobbit film I totally agree, but I actually love Boromir ghosties and I like the male camararderie between Lego and Gimli.

So do I mrs figg, just would have been awesome if done, not in a jokey way, but seriously, as this Epic Tale is meant to be. I would have been more excited, hanging on the edge of my seat if silly quips had been kept out. I got so involved with Boromir & Faramir, I still choke when Faramir thinks Denethor doesnt love him, or when Boromir is killed,   Its nice to see people slowly bond together & end up loving each other, (in a very manly way, no poofy Dwarves here, or Elves, matey !) This is a tale of pain,loss, hardship, fear tension etc, but it has hope, thats the end result. out of that Hope comes Victory. Thats how I feel.

Been looking again at the Shadows of the Past Scene in terms of it being too long.

As well as being possible to trim the Smeagol/Deagol scene somewhat, comparing it to the book its interesting that Shadows of the Past in chapter form is pretty much all about Smeagol.

Gandalf covers the history of the Ring in one or two very short paragraphs with few details- the details about Isildur ect, the Last Alliance dont come until Elronds account at the Council.
So I am looking to see if there is somewhere I can put all that stuff in flashback form at the council and leave the only full flashback in Shadows the Smeagol/Deagol stuff.

I'm thinking of rewatching your edits, Petty, but I want to make sure I got the latest versions first. The versions I have are from december 31st 2011 to january 17th 2012 (and I've got the updated book 5 with the gandalf/Witch king scene). Are these the most up-to-date edits still? I would've checked the Skydrive, but my mail isn't working at the moment for some reason.

I think there are later ones on the drive Ringdrotten- but they are mostly very minor tweaks to editing to make some cuts smoother if memory serves.
I will need to check to see when I uploaded them to see if they are newer than what you have before you go to the trouble of downloading them all again.

22/08/2012 is the upload date for book 1 on the drive Ringdrotten.

Cheers I'll have to wait for this hotmail issue to sort itself out, then I'll put my new internet provider to the test
