theres rain and theres rain like Azriel described all warm and fragrant, and theres sea rain like Petty has, and sweary rain like Norc has, and then theres Mancunian rain and its no fun at all. It coms from leaden skies, it goes on for months and its that piddling stuff that gets you damp and frizzy, but not outright wet.

no, but seriously though... this was all over the news (the local and more.. erm.. all over) there was a debate on whether or not the state spends too much money on art in military stuff, and well. first they interviewed this guy who (probably taking his education in the military and therefore a bit serious) said with reason that he thought the guys rather have them spend the money on something els, like internet and stuff. then they showed some guys just looking at themselves in a metal ball, using it as a mirror and not as.. well. art. then they cut to these guys  and it is so funny because they're like sheepish and childish (because they are young guys just on duty for a year so..) and i know them.. well one of them (he dated my sister and first time i was out drinking we ran into them so yeah.. i know them) and i laughed so hard, they're partly embarrassed and partly proud

they're at Setermoen (same place as the Harlem Shake video is from btw, explains a lot really), have you been there? i think they've been there for some time, although.. how would i know. i haven't been in the military

I've been there a couple of times, but it's a big camp after all, maybe I missed them. If I did, it doesn't bother me all that much
