Iowa 4-H'er Ashtyn Danker gives us the story behind Iowa's famous fluffy cows: http://bit.ly/14lzGAY. She says, "I think it's pretty crazy that this all started from farm kids showing cattle."

Boats I was talking about. The frigate looks huge from my window... still not sure how they get in the dock (I do know as I have watched them... just doesn't look possible once they are in there).
Re: Tales of Home [2]
I wonder how you concentrate, when its so easy to look out the window & watch the world go by ? Im sure Id fall behind, Im a bit of a daydreamer !

There is a bloody big post right behind me. If I try and turn round I crash in to it reminding me to do work.
Plus you get used to it. Been looking out the same window for nearly 2 years!!

That barque appears to be set up with roller furling on everything! I wouldn't be surprised if you could do almost everything from the bridge by pushing buttons.

It did strike me as a very 'mod-con' type sailing ship.
Doesnt have a 9 inch turret on the front though.

Re: Tales of Home [2]
Those large rigid inflatables and the cranes to launch them from deck make me suspect she does some kind of passenger cruises to remote locations without large docks. Eco-tourism to islands for example.
...just guessing....

Re: Tales of Home [2]
From Skyfall?
You must be thinking of SIS headquarters. That is a bit further west in central London. Dont think it is one I can see from my floor.

Re: Tales of Home [2]
Well... if it makes you feel any better, the Bourne identity (film) put the building next to mine as a CIA sub station. Obviously it isnt.....
