Re: Mount Olympus Annual Picnic
Was that really Amarie looking noble and wisely Moderatory in her toga, on a plinth?
Sounds like me. Wise and noble, that what everybody says about me. Well, maybe just a few. Well, maybe just Leelee. And maybe she is too kind. But yes. That was probably me. At least noble and wise by forumshire standards.
Unless someone heard me sing the Benny hill theme during the chase.

I see most of you are still in your costumes, but, umm....I couldn't seem to find mine anywhere this morning....
I can't imagine how I could have lost it....or where....or when.....
All I remember is the buckie and Mrs Figg's gorgeous, deep green eyes, like ocean pools....

Ooops, here I was still wandering around in my sheets. There, back to normal. It was a fun picnic though.
Where did you wake up, you say?

Oh, and Amarië, I seem to remember that I am indebted to you for a kindness when I was in desperate need (a very, very small kindness....).
I'd like to assure you that I never forget a debt, and if I ever get a chance to repay your kindness in kind, you can count on me.

I thought I explained that. I somehow misplaced the original costume, and I just can't face the neighbors in a fig leaf...

Re: Mount Olympus Annual Picnic
Ah! I must have been drunk at that point. ..and also above where I missed out our esteemed Mayor from the list of dignitries so far absent from the picnic {{phew that should cover my tracks now I espy her about the forum again}}).
Now David slip into something Greek (nice Avatar for daily wear but not a Greek picnic) and have one of these funny drinks in the nut shells Mrs Figg has been serving up (and not sure whose nuts they are) oh and you can't eat the little umbrellas, dont try the prongs go right up your nostrils. Not sure why she puts them in there, maybe its so if it rains it'll keep the cherries dry?

Okay, ok I'm back in costume. Though I seem to have an olfactory record of the whole picnic to date recorded in my toga, and I can't see to escape smelling it for some reason.

Orwell-where's your costume?
Splendid David and Halfwise. Thats the style. {{{{{Now I had a thought about poor mad Odo. But in case there are any Sherrify ears about this bit is just for, well everyone else really except sherriffs. You see, as one or two of you may have noticed Odo and I dont always get on, I know, hard to believe but there it is. Thing is you see a free, sane, infuriating, annoying, arrogant, self pontioficating, scheming, sexually ambigous and possbily deviant Odo I can deal with- I can have a go at him as he rightly deserves. But a mad, sad incarcerated Odo is no good to anybody for abusing. So, here's my plan to free him and restore him to santity, and I warn you there is a chance this is just the buckie thinking, but, we break him out. Good old fashioned jail break- we can use Daves horses to pull the bars out, or the wall, but, and this is the genius buckie bit, we do it dressed as carrots- and tell him his carrot God has set him free and he is to act exactly like he used to as a disguise to blend in with the turnip worshippers- he'll still be mad, but it wont seem like it.}}}}}

{{{{Ideas borne of buckie at 3.35am are always good Halfwise. However I feel the best time would be when the most people are concious at the picnic at once-and we need Daves horses, those Lockholes bars are strong. And I shall have to get Pretty to distract Mirabella, that at least should be easy enough!}}}}

Enough of that just now, Orwell - and I don't mean to be unkind as I know it's a delicate matter with you --- but rumours are circulating {{{oh how rumours fly in Forumshire! }}}, but word has it - there's peppermint in the air! Which usually means only one thing when Odo is in the Lockholes...
