Re: Mount Olympus Annual Picnic
Is it over?! I need a buckie. To think I only stopped by again on my way to my barrel and bed. Now I'm covered in, what is that Odo was coated in? Eel oil?
Put him in my sporran Dave, it has hidden depths.

Re: Mount Olympus Annual Picnic
Ow! Head hurts. Bitemarks on ankle. No memory.
Ah yes, the picnic. Must have been a good one! The last thing I remember is opening a buckie in a stupid Achilles costume.....
I said what?
I was what?
They were staring at my what?
Petty did WHAT?!? {{well at least that explains the burning in my nether regions....}}
Then I did WHAT?? ...[fingers in ears].... I don't think I need to know any more right now! {{but it serves Petty right }}
What's that?..... in NotP?
What do those wizards put in buckie, anyway??

Re: Mount Olympus Annual Picnic
It was quite a tame Picnic by Forumshire standards actually... And - as usual - we've lost Odo again... and Mirabella too... more sadly. I last saw her with hitched skirt running toward the ferry.....

Re: Mount Olympus Annual Picnic
I got here as quick as I could. The new Fornost circular was full of overtaking horse and carts full of fruit from the South and some new kind of carriage where they have all of their beds and cooking bits and toilet etc in one place and live out of it. Heard the name caravan but that might have been the sound of the expletives I used in my psychotic rage.
Oh... where are all the sarnies? And why is there oil and grime everywhere?
I'm late aren't I?
Taking the old road from now on

Re: Mount Olympus Annual Picnic
what HAS been happening while I was slumbering?
I dreamt of the dark lord of Turnips and he had a Great Eye, but maybe that was because he lives in the dark and root veggies tend to sprout weird shit.
and the Dark Turnip turned to me and offered me dominion over eels, big and slightly smaller (but full of vim), and it was hard to resist, but I thought of England and the Eye faded and went out with a sput!
I woke up and wondered if it was the wizard buckie or if it was really Odo I saw being followed by a strange little fella in a loin cloth muttering about 'thievin Bankses', and coal skuttles.
Was that really Mirry gallumping down the lane with her platform boots a-pounding the tarmac?.
Was that really Petty swinging giggling from a Pole (Gretchen I think she was called)?.
Was that really Dave transformed into a greek demi god with rock hard um! muscles and flowy hair a bit like Fabio on the cover of a romantic book for women of a certain age?
Was that really Norc dressed as Sherlock?
Was that really Lance missing the whole picnic and parking his caravan on the curb thus blocking the exit for the emergency services that were called in by the sherriff.?
Was that really Halfwise in $400 dollar hand made gold shoes from Jimmy Choo?
Was that really Amarie looking noble and wisely Moderatory in her toga, on a plinth?
I may never know!

Re: Mount Olympus Annual Picnic
Don't worry about the memory thing David and Mrs Figg, thats perfectly normal after buckie. As too are any unusual changes of colour...or growths......
And anyway the NotP will be along at some point with a full reminder of all the, um, activities.

i don't know about the other stuff, it all happened so fast and in such a blur.. but I'm still dressed as Sherlock
Re: Mount Olympus Annual Picnic
I am not sure I have been so offended in all my long life.
One thing I can guarantee you, young Mrs Figg, is that I certainly did not park a caravan anywhere, nor have I ever done such a trecherous act against humanity, hobbit-erm-anity or any other anity!
It may have been me who set fire to it though.... I thought I had got them all before Junction 5 of the Fornost circular.
