And I thought it was bad here after walking outside for a couple hours yesterday. Hope you can stay cool(ish) indoors at least, Mrs Figg!
Re: Tales of Home [7]
I was going to say I didn't think mediterranean countries got that hot, but then israel and Egypt certainly would.

Re: Tales of Home [7]
go buy some. Round here along with the honey and whiskey we also add lemon and tea to a hot toddy. Earl grey works best.
Worth keeping a bottle a whisky around the house. Or bourbon.

Only issue with having a bottle of whisky standing around is that it seems to dissapear..

hello guys, KARSK!!!! bålkaffe+brennevin+sukkerbit=heaven! (translated: really strong coffee boiled over an open fire, added some err.. alcohol, moonshine or vodka or the like and then a sugarcube (voluntary but advised). how to blend? put a coin in a cup. poor coffee until you can't see it. alcohol until you can see it again. consume until coin is unseeable again.Pettytyrant101 wrote:The idea of mixing alcohol and caffeine in the same drink has always had a certain efficiency to it though.... - David

Neat idea, but I don't buy it physically. As you add alcohol you're not removing the coffee. Will block the same amount of light, unless you are talking about looking at the coin sideways through a glass.

Coffee with just the right amount of pure moonshine (94-95% vol) is actually quite tasty, believe it or not

Re: Tales of Home [7]
Final reminder for Raddy and DJH since I know they were firm maybes about the Forumshire Moot before. We're meeting up around 7pm this Friday.

Could likely fine some place even more Tolkieny, but this is just a short walk away and will do.
