I think you might be underestimating the mount of alcohol it takes, and that is used, to actually make coffe see-through..

So more like coffee flavored alcohol than coffee with a shot of alcohol.

I just did a search, and cripes it's not cheap at the last minute. I thought London would be cheaper than Italy, but it's more! The hell's THAT all about?
Try some other time. You can crash on my couch.

I'll try to take some decent pictures to share here. Probably not gonna have much time to hit up any of the famous landmarks though.
Re: Tales of Home [7]
We should try to hit the HighLine around dusk on Friday night. Perhaps not the best time to take pictures, but very atmospheric.

Will be hot as blazes; after a drink or two you may not want to see the pictures.

Had to google the High Line but it sounds neat.
It was broiling here in MD today. I was sitting on the back deck after the sun had disappeared behind the surrounding houses but after 5-10 minutes I was sweating despite not even moving.

Actually, we didn't get any bucky in Eldo. This clearly needs further work. But note the dim Bree-like atmosphere, which was wonderfully appropriate though the music was anything but Bree-like.
The second picture was taken on the famous High Line, and it seems the camera has brightened it considerably, for it's dusk.

It was a bit of a revelation to find Raddy bears more than a passing resemblance to Prince Oberyn.
