Bit of super hero overkill there I feel.

Re: Future releases [2]
Going a bit overboard aren't they?
I can't speak for the North American market, but I do think Superheroes are going to get a bit tedious for the international audience after a while, although I end up watching most of them, it's all got a bit boring for me, most of my friends are to be frank a little on the geeky side, and even they are getting a bit annoyed with the emphasis on franchise building and increasingily grim character arcs? Don't people watch these films for ludicrous escapeism?
Superhero movies take themselves too seriously, and I think Disney has placed a bit too much hope in them myself.
You can chuck in the Harry Potter Spin offs, and six or seven new Star Wars films as well, it's franchise overkill.

And the 18 planned Silmarillion movies.

Mark my words Bilbo's speech about 'Feeling stretched and thin, like Butter being scraped over too much bread' will become ever more apparent in the nest few years, I gurantee we will get a spin off/prequel/remake/slow motion compilation of Thorin's Hair in the near future.

Re: Future releases [2]
I was gonna say, I didn't think Interstellar was out yet, at least not in the States. I haven't been enthralled by the trailers, but I would definitely like to see the film.

I have a moral objection to reading list articles where every entry is its own page (10x the ad dollars!), but I did read the first couple out of curiosity. I'd like to be all notsureifserious.gif but I think the guy's sincere, if hyperbolic. But I don't his arguments (the ones I read) to be very persuasive.
Re: Future releases [2]
I think he's serious, yeah.
Oh, I sometimes wonder myself. Don't worry.

Re: Future releases [2]
I actually had really low expectations for this, because I thought it would be too much of a good thing, but this actually looks friggin' hilarious and a worthy addition to the Despicable Me franchise.

Re: Future releases [2]
I actually didn't realize (or probably just forgot) that there was even a season two. I assume it's all up on Netflix...
