Sounds fun... but expensive.
But, yeah, that kind of what interesting about it too, I guess.

Re: Music [2]
Great stuff, Blue, I love Jackson Browne's music Some nice versions of my three favourite Jackson Browne songs:
Some Zevon covers that he did (They happened to be childhood friends, and that's how I was introduced to Jackson's music):

Liked those, Ringo. And the Warren Zevon covers.
I came across Jackson Browne through David Crosby. Jackson apparently stayed on Crosbys boat while doing his first solo album, on which David sang all the background harmonies.
Here's Jackson singing with Crosby Nash:

I enjoyed that one, Blue. I wish he would come to our little country for concerts, but I guess there isn't enough interest to draw a large enough audience.

True.
Actually, I could have said i particularily liked the Warren Zevon covers. Some great songs. Did you say somewhere he was a favourite of yours?

Re: Music [2]
Do that, Ringo. I'd be more than happy to listen throught them.
Actually, I just remembered I do know a Warren Zevon, Jackson Browne, David Crosby story. Though Warren Zevon is perhaps the least involved.
David Crosby had rather a large drug problem in the late 70's and the last proper song he wrote for a long while came about like this:
And this is the song. (Still one of his best to this day, in my opinion.)

David Crosby had rather a large drug problem in the late 70's and the last proper song he wrote for a long while came about like this:
Written by David Crosby, he credits Jackson Browne with providing the motivation to complete this song. In Long Time Gone: the autobiography of David Crosby, he admits to having the attention span of a "drunken butterfly" at the time. After running some of the lyrics by Browne, Jackson pushed him to work on it and dragged him to Warren Zevon's house, where Crosby sat at a piano and wrote the song. "Jackson wouldn't let me up or let me at the pipe," said Crosby. "He just stood there, looking over my shoulder, holding me at the bench, forcing me, slowly and painfully, to give birth to the song, not the lyrical fragment or the convenient phrase. It was an act of love and great caring; he showed concern for me, for my work, for seeing me get my work done. 'Delta' was the last complete song that I wrote for years. I was the child, crazy for the deep. Without Jackson, the song would never have happened."
And this is the song. (Still one of his best to this day, in my opinion.)

Re: Music [2]
Great story (and song)
Here's some you might like (I could post his whole discography, but he takes some time getting used to, so I'm not quite sure which songs may serve as a proper introduction).
The first song I heard of him (sung by my English language teacher ). Chose this particular vid for the animation
Here's a couple off those Jackson covered (and the second is a good example of the black humour he was known for):
Another great one (you can tell from the lyrics he had issues )
One of his many "story" songs - he was an excellent storyteller, even when limited to only a few verses to tell the stories
One of the few covers he ever recorded and put on an album - a beautiful song and version (there's a cool photo of him and Jackson Browne at about 0:25 )
I could go on and on, but I better stop - as I said, he takes some getting used to, and I'm not sure what songs to pick. If you should happen to like his music, I recommend the self-titled album "Warren Zevon" (his 2nd, though widely considered to be his debut album). And the one called "Genius", which is a "best-of" collection of sorts. Anyway, enjoy

Ok, one more - I mentioned black humour, and this is one of his best in that genre

Not gotten through all of it, but I rather like it so far. And, yeah, he definitely has some darkness in his lyrics.
Play it alll night long, great song.

I just had one of those moments where you discover great music you never thought existed - I absolutely loved that song, Azriel

Re: Music [2]
Actually, I think it would've made a great soundtrack to an animated version of the Hobbit (with some minor changes to the lyrics). It has that children's story feel to it. Wonderful song, a hidden treasure uncovered
