Celtic Thunder, Lorenna McKennit, Vivaldi to name a few. Oh and I love all the songs Uncle Buck loved.

Re: Homwork music
I'm just barely enough of a musician that having music in the background interferes with my thinking process. Didn't start to interfere until my 30's I think, but anyway, I can't listen to music when I have to work.

I dont do work so its not an option. I am very lazy. I do listen to music when I am driving though. mainly crappy music to sing to like Sugarbabes, or great music to hum to like LOTR, Daaaa-da-da-da-Daaaa-da-da-da- da-...

Re: Homwork music
hi everyone. this has nothing to do woth music, but it has to do with homework. I have to write a modern saga about myself, as it is easer to talk about all your former relatives that way, but I need help with the plot. It is modern, but it has to contain the essens of a saga. like bravery, heros, murder, and.. well.. you know. I need plot help, I can't come up with a plot. any ideas?
Re: Homwork music
Why dont you just take a story from an old saga and transpose it to the modern day?

Re: Homwork music
yeah, sagas had the habit of introducing new character as this :
"Aragorn son of Arathorn son of Bragarir son of Bardur son of May daugter of Evelay, daughter of Granada the Jotnekiller"

Re: Homwork music
well you had a pretty good saga you told us ages ago about your relatives hiding in the mountains from the baddies, why dont you write about that? its pretty impressive and dramatic. Just instead of Nazis make it Daleks

Re: Homwork music
Nothing is more modern than the future.... its more modern than now even!!
Why dont you do a modern Star Wars?
You can decide which character you want to be..... Anakin Skywalker for instance. You mother lived in a slum in one of the rim contries (Fjordlandia for example). One day you were on a debating team (as you liked to fix things through politically correct debate) and were noticed by a politician. After inciting several wars, he eventually declared himself Prime Minister Tony Blair of England and you had him disposed of.
Unfortunately Grand Moff Gordon was the only other option.
Re music anything from Andy Mckee to Trivium.

Re: Homwork music
Just subtitute 'Tony Blair' with you own war hungry national leader and Grand Moff 'Brown' with his/her imcompetant, incredibly dislikable successor.
