{{{Philistines, the lot of them! Banghead

Ah, but one of these day's they'll meet an enthusiastic fan of PJ's Hobbit movies who tells them the movies are a pure-gold action-packed laugh-fest, and that the old book with the bearded dwarves in colored hoods on a simple quest is as lame as a one-legged goat.

THEN they'll begin to understand. Mad

THEN they'll feel my pain! Nod }}}

Haha.  Laughing

I love how even when we are discussing the Wizard of Oz we seem to get into the same kind of camps.

Maybe it's just a consequence of human nature.

I'm in neither Camp, I'm still stuck in the traffic trying to find the campsite-I've never seen The Wizard of Oz...

Ha! Explains all the peppermint!  Mad

So - who's talking about the Wiz behind my back! Who is the Cowardly Lion? There can be only one such... Peppermint! More like cranberry if I know my berries, and this is clearly not peppermint berry, even if it smells like peppermint berry...  Come out, come out, wherever you are.... Extremely Crabbit

Haha, well. You and Daves debate have been going on so long it warranted a nomination in the most touchy forum subject category. So I don't think I needed to brake any sort of encryption, {{{like I'm doing now Shocked}}}, to make that coment. And Figg has weighed in before as well.

So I admit to nothing.  Laughing

I saw The Wizard of Oz when I was a little kid and recall being unimpressed with it. Shrugging No idea what I'd think of it now. I've never read the book at all, though I think I still have Wicked sitting on a shelf (unopened) somewhere.
