I'd enjoy having a Best DOS Review category since so many people posted them.

And a Best Thread or Best OP for long essay-type posts like Elthir's Galadriel thread or my forum history one.

Most Crabbit is going to be hotly contested this year, obviously, but I don't think Most Pure should be open to people who only changed their tune after seeing The Hobbit.

I'm fine with being in the Liberal category for the LotR trilogy as long as I can stay in the crabbit category to show my contempt for DOS

When will the awards be held? I don't recall when they were held last year, but is it possible not to have them on new year's eve? I'll be out doing stuff I'll regret, and I'm guessing there are others who have plans for that night as well. I'd love to be here when the awards are held and post as they are being announced

They are traditionally held at some point during the first week of the new year.

But I would like the voting period to be as long as possible which is why we have to decide the categories now.

Great I'm happy with the categories as they are, so all I got to do now is catch up on the creative corner before those categories are announced as well!

I, of course, will abstain again from the vote.   As I see it, the Fjordians all get an individual vote, so why not the Bankses? Orwell is especially upset about it -- as he's included in the Banks clan - much to his disgruntlement {{{and our distaste!   }}}

I am crabbit, i thought the hobbit was allrightm but there was stuff i absolutely hated about itm tauriel and kili for instance, i would like to have a dividing line between th and lotr. Thank you very much.

There is no dividing line between PJ's LotR's and TH if you're a purist. Thats one of the ways you know you are one!
