Was that an official entry?

Along those lines I've been annoyed at the whole theme they are trying to shoe-horn in that the dwarves trying to take back Erebor will upset some kind of natural order that will unleash chaos.

No, they're trying to go kill a fookin' dragon. The worst that could happen is they get eaten. Big whoop.

I think it's just another way to try and make the story seem epic when it's not.

How about 'best' Jacksonism? I'm half expecting Bard to surf backwards down Smaug's back holding hands with Tauriel.

Sorry... but I have to protest about this best couple thing. I don't like to be associated with warm feelings that are implied by this category!

Plus CC buggered off!

How about just 'best musical creation' which can then cover anything anyone has done. Norclet and her orchestra, something Orwell has done this year plus anything else people want to nominate.

That sounds good to me Lance- if there are no objections or further suggestions I will add that to the Creative Corner categories.

A Modern Forum Awards night should include awards for:

(1) Best at something
(2) Best try at something
(3) Did try a little
(4) Didn't try at all (but needs encouragement).

Here to help! Very Happy

{{That should get me something this year! Suspect )

Im not sure a modern awards would have the best of anything. The winning isn't what its about.... it is making sure even the shit people are given a sense of false hope so they can fail be destroyed later in life when someone tells them they arent quite good enough.
