Well we have a choice- I was planning on holding the ceremony on Sunday with tomorrow night being dress rehearsals for the Awards Evening.

If I do this then there will be a second- smaller scale ceremony- more just an announcement really the following Sunday with the film awards- that would give a week to vote on them.

The alternative is to delay the ceremony one week and have both results at the same time.

Everyone (well, almost everyone) has voted in the forum awards already- but no one has voted on the film awards.

Normally both sets of awards would be in the single Awards Ceremony.
But as we are running late this time out and the film ones haven't even been voted on yet, the choice is to have two ceremonies- a proper one for the forum awards- and then a week later just an announcement of the film awards (giving everyone a week to vote on those) or I delay the whole thing another week and have both together.

I'm open to anything. I'd be partial to splitting it up over two weekends, particularly because classes resume next week!

Ok then if we have it all on the same day the plan will be-

tomorrow (Sunday 12th)- I will put up the voting form for the Film Awards section- voting for it will close at midnight GMT next Friday (17th).

Saturday (18th)- Official pre-awards party thread will be opened for folks to put up pics of their Awards attire and get suitably buckied and embarrass themselves (well me anyway)

Sunday 19th - Awards Ceremony.

Well one advantage of leaving it a week is it wont clash with the final episode of Sherlock.  Very Happy

Figg- thats a shame- what if I made it the Saturday night and moved the dressing up part to the Friday?- is Saturday better? I want to try to time it to get as many folks as possible available for it at once.
