you know Petty, you are a really chivalrous and pretty romantic man. You say the kindest things, despite all the buckie and out to there things you say. HYou are very soft hearted and a gentleman. That is something Hasia picked up on last year,. She sees through the wind bag or bag pipes that you throw out there. What does it feel like being whipped by a ten year old girl?
Oh by the way I have been thinking about your dear cats, how are they? Give them a hug for us.

Holidays and absences [2] - Page 4 Empty Re: Holidays and absences [2]

I always found that at your age, you get the majority of people that are finding out who they actually are and embracing it. Then you get the minority who are still acting like they are at school, wearing the clothes that are 'popular' and listening to the music that is 'popular' (and so on with everything else) and taking the piss out of everything else.

of those, about half (if not more) of them actually do like most of the stuff they hate and hate most of the stuff they like. They just cant let go of being the 'popular' people... which it will turn out they actually arent too popular because they actually dont have much in common with their own friends (since they dont really like half they stuff they say they do).

So... to come long windedly to my point. Just be you. The people that are worth being friends with and those that you will actually have stuff in common with will find you. I am sure the ones you will end up closest to will probably find your LOTR verbal dihorrea quite cute!

Oh.. and some of us nerds that can talk to you about star trek and computer games can also be quite cool.

Now leelee! There's no call for that sort of language! Mad

And the fact I am going to put some pictures on the cat thread of my cats for Hasia to see them, as she asked about them, in no way at all takes away from my icy, buckied heart! Its cause my cats are, um, mean killing machines, yes, that's it! Twisted Evil

He really is. It is no joke. And see how kind he is to Hasia. She has not a doubt in the world that he is. It is rather awesome to hear her talk about the folk here. She feels right at home. By the way my entire family was overwhelmed by the work you did on the newspaper, all of her favorite things. It is going on her wall, suitably framed, in our new house.

He must be chivalrous to his Queen, otherwise he will lose his position as keeper of Buckie. In fact, if he wasn't somewhat decent, he'd be hound food by now for drinking all my barrels! But I am an understanding Queen, with unlimited patience and a soft spot for crabbits

And Halfy, I was writing bits of a story I don't know I'll ever finish!

I hope you'll check in from time to time and keep us all updated, but I expect you'll have many other things vying for your attention, especially at the beginning.

Shrugging dunno.

Sofa I want to hide down the side of the sofa where its dark and warm and safe, if a little dusty, I dont have the strength to blow a raspberry let alone storm Hadrians Wall. I keep crying at any little thing, pussy cats, nice Leaves, twinkling lights, I keep welling up Sad  what a doofus.

Don't tell the other Manly Men here, but I get worked up and emotional over plenty of little things when I'm stressed out about something in the immediate future too. I think a lot of people do. I don't know what all you have planned for your England trip but you'll be in our thoughts while you're there regardless of whether or not you can get an Internet connection. Very Happy
