The family is going down to Colonial Williamsburg to celebrate my step-mom's birthday this weekend, so I'll be away from Friday to Monday. I don't know if there will be wi-fi at the place we're staying, but I won't be online as much as usual regardless.

Thanks Halfy! I've been once before, in the spring a year or two ago, but I'm really looking forward to this.  They have something called the grand illumination, which comes from an 18th century term for fireworks and cannons and all that jazz.  I'm actually hoping for snow for the first time this winter cause I'm sure the historic areas will look beautiful with it.

Will have you wish you welcome back in advance, eldo, as I'm leaving "town" myself for a few days. Leaving for Tallinn tomorrow, and will return next Friday, but I'll be celebrating a friend's birthday that same evening, so it'll probably be Saturday before I get a chance to catch up on the latest Forumshire news.

Turns out they've got free wifi here (I had low expectations considering what we pay to live here), so I'll be checking in on evenings. We're staying in the old town, and it's a pretty amazing place. Brought my camera, so if I get any post-worthy pics I'll share them when I get back home Smile
