I've been to the US-Canada border and it isn't militarized either.Norc wrote:the border between Norway and Sweden. the longest non-militarized border in the world
That's a great picture though.

just rejected the two first halloween kids. they were very cool one of them was darth vader:) and leopold said hello to two of them. my dad is going to the store now though... to buy some candy.
but we're joking if there is any kind of candy that tastes like shit.. or if we're giving them fruit. lots of sour norwegian apples
dear lord i am an aweful person.

You should pass out brown rice balls and kale chips. Next year you'll get nobody.
Hmm...not a bad idea.

Re: Tales of Home [3]
but my dad went to buy some! although.... the two groups of kids are probably the only ones we'll get.. as if owning a huge dog wouldn't be enough for people to turn... he literally howls like a bear (if one can use that metaphor) when people ring the doorbell..
Re: Tales of Home [3]
Damn, those are great jack o' lanterns, Lance!
I saw a Despicable Me minion pumpkin yesterday with white gourds in the eye holes. It was adorable.

Awesome, Lance It's a shame Halloween isn't such a big deal here in Fjordlandia, it looks like a lot of fun. Some kids came knocking on my door earlier tonight, though, each one with a basket of his own They do know how to make the most of this one day of the year

Re: Tales of Home [3]
i have had two groups of children .. so we bought candy.. but now they seem to have all vanished. so we eat the candy ourself. i wish it was bigger here.. that would've been fun.
Re: Tales of Home [3]
