A BOOZE-crazed moron who leapt off a pier in a bid to catch a departing ferry thought he was “a cross between Tarzan and James Bond”.
Sozzled James Moran hit the side of the boat and fell in the water before he was saved by shocked port staff.
Moran, 19, and pals Raymond Peacock, 22, and Christopher Laverty, 26, turned up at Dunoon ferry terminal, Argyll, hoping to catch the last service to Gourock, Renfrewshire, after an all-day drinking session last April.

Fiscal Pamela Brady said: “Pier staff told them they would not be able to board because they arrived too late — to which they replied, ‘Aye, we’ll jump.’”
But after Moran’s failed leap and rescue the trio, from Greenock, began fighting each other. It eventually took SEVEN cops to restrain them as Moran and Peacock repeatedly kicked out.
Moran last month admitted recklessly jumping for the ferry and putting himself and his rescuers in danger at Dunoon Sheriff Court. He also pleaded guilty to police assault and fighting with Peacock and Laverty.'- Scottish Sun

"after Moran’s failed leap and rescue the trio, from Greenock, began fighting each other."- that so sums up the folks from across the water! Mad They're not like us you know. This is why that ferry should only take people from Dunoon, not bring them over here. Evil or Very Mad
