It is a fantastic image, but I do agree that the pose doesn't look natural. He does look like he has forgotten what to do next, which could be true so perhaps it looks natural after all.
And I totally ship Gandalf and Balrog.

I couldnt find a name for this, but, it looks like it could be Radagast ? Its by an artist called James Christensen.
This is by the same artist, nothing to do with LOTRs but its nice
