Re: Artwork inspired by Tolkien
I don't like the last one of the Balrog. It seems a little bit of a 'fit everything in a small space' picture and the pose of the monster looks a bit forced and awkward.
Quite like the ride of the Rohirrim one though.
Edit - I clearly missed page 2 somehow... comments are around Figgy's pics on page 1.

maybe if he just said "i love you balgrog. you may be too much 4 some people. maybe you'll say something wrong and you will stutter and be embrassed and repeat it in your head. but say it to them. or say it yourself in the mirror. or in a letter. don't look back at your death without saying those words. i love you balrog."

Was medieval times..... they didn't have text. Or do you mean like monks and their big calligraphy letters?
Re: Artwork inspired by Tolkien

Oh, thought you meant the Balrog was in the corner on his Iphone (clearly too much money and loves Apple) and Gandalf was on his old Nokia 3210.

Re: Artwork inspired by Tolkien
3210 can get signal anywhere (fact).
The poser/monster man may have trouble though. Maybe he had a really big coat hanger and some tin foil attached to it? He must wear big coats so needs a big coat hanger.

Re: Artwork inspired by Tolkien
Gandalf is too good for him anyway. Maybe hooking up with the wicked witch wouldn't be so bad.... although she is more pale than Petty and so could be some burn issues.
