OMMAGAWD OMMAGAWD!!!!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I JUST READ IN THE FUCKING NEWSPAPER!!!!!

ok.. i'll try to explain. you know the band Röyksopp. I've posted some of their music in the music thread. here's a sample. they're really good. like wow. and they're from my town, weee... anyways, here's a sample.

and.. so in the paper. they're gonna make this kinda album where they pick and choose they're favourite songs and also does some really awesome covers. of course i've forgotten which songs, but like famous artists and it's gonna be great because this band is just awesome and everything they do is weird and edgy and just the best. but yeah, i skimmed through the article then... then i read star trek. i stopped up and read... roughly translated:

Röyksopp's edition also consists of some curiosities like Rare Bird's b-side "Passing Through" from 1975, austrailian Little River Band, Vangelies, french F.R David, swiss Andreas Vollenweider, XTC, Thomas Dolby and the german electro avant-gard band Popol Vuh, before everything is closed of with the story "Flat Of Angels", read by the actor BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH (Star Trek, Sherlock, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, War Horse, The Hobbit).

BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH IS WORKING WITH RÖYKSOPP!! THERE IS A SLIM CHANCE OF AN AUTOGRAPH!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MYSELF ANYMOREEEE!!! HELP ME I AM DYING!!!

Deep breaths there Norc, dont pass out- put a paper bag over your head or something, that helps with breathing.

Now, what you are going to need here is crabbit lass. And lot of it.

What you have here is an extreme longshot of getting an autograph, but the universe will contrive to put all sorts of obstacles and complications in the way, so you will have to deploy your extrmeme crabbitness with care to reach your goal.
Good luck.

it's not that slim- NOrc

No, no, no! Sherlock - BBC [2] - Page 18 398825057 Thats not the way at all- start off assuming its going to be horrbly difficult, think of all the ways in which it will be difficult, get properly crabbit about it and use the energy built up to devise the means to overcome the obstacles. Thus leaving nothing to chance and ensuring success.
Now go get crabbit! Twisted Evil

If i don't then... my life is a failure..- NOrc

Now you see this is where crabbit saves you. If you somehow do fail then obviously thats something else to get crabbit about- and you can target all the persons and reasons for your failure- putting the blame squarely where it deserves to be- outward on a badly devised universe- and not inward where it can do harm like making you think life wouldnt be worth living.
See, everyone needs crabbit!

Norc ! Dont you dare give up hope ! Persistance pays off, the harder you try, the more you'll succeed! I know, Ive done it. I just got up one day, booked a flight to Italy & hunted down the recording studio of a band my daughter & me liked. When I saw one of the band turn up I braved it, walked up & asked for an autograph, (while smiling like a goon!) & I was totally shocked when we were asked in, met everyone & everyone signed their autograph. We were handed some goodies also. We spent 4 days in Italy on a total high ! So, dont give up on a dream ! You CAN make them come true ! Go girl !! :carrot:
