Mmmm- the folder on the skydrive is still empty but I have uploaded 2.7gig apparently.

Well accordng to my upload thingy its almost halfway there- 3.1gb- I can only assume that rather than uploading each file one by one its uploading data from across all of them- which is really annoying as it means if my pc crashes and resets- and its a pc so it wlll eventually- I could lose everything its uploaded so far.

why dont you put your stuff on cd's and then post them to people? then you dont have to waste time uploading? wouldnt it be easier. you could send an Owl.

Cds are to small as are dvd's, the films wont fit on them- they are HD films- and I dont have either an HD burner or a blueray burner- and then only people with an HD player or blueray player could watch them.

This way people can downoad them- not much hassle for them, its uploading takes forever- and can watch it how they like as they can move the files to whatever is best suited for them.

I am quite happy for people to send me a memory stick like David did and I can put them straight onto that and send it back- thats actually the easiest way of all for me- but involves whoever sent the mem stick waiting on snail mail to deliver it.

I am currently upping book 4 to that drive too. Not huge differences from the version you already have Ringdrotten- nothing major I can think of, just some tweaks so up to you if you want to download it too when its ready.

Will probably do, but that'll have to wait till June, I think, or perhaps sometime in May, as I go back tomorrow evening. As to book 5, it's now extracting

By the way, huge fan of the mp4 format as that's the only format my iPod will play

This is odd Got an error message saying part 2 is corrupt, but it's still extracting. Hopefully it doesn't mean anything

Extraction not successful There's something wrong with parts 2,3 and 7. I'm going out for a few hours now, probably not returning till late tonight, but here are the error messages I get:

I will begin reupping those parts and try again. (and folk wonder why I am so crabbit! )

Ok Ive replaced two of the three corrupted files and the third is uploading.
I am hoping it will be finished in time for you to get it Ringdrotten before you have to leave again.
Ive uploaded them individdually this time in the hope there will be less chance of errors.

Part 3 and 7 still corrupt Part 2 worked fine, though

Damn it- the files are fine its the uploding to skydrive app seems crap- Ive tested them my end, extracted the film no probs.
Good news is part 7 is really short so shouldnt take to long to try again- but part 3 will take several hours.

I can download the last parts when I get back, it'll just take a lot longer as the internet connection I've got down there is incredibly crap and slow

Part 7 is almost reuploaded but will prob take till close to mdnight for it to do the other part.
So if you manage to grab part 7 before you go that will just leave you one 1.1 gig file to download (assuming the bloody thing works this time Oddly the webpage for the app doesnt say upload up to 2 gig a time but we will corrupt your files while we do it- bloody should though. )
