I can't get it to play. I can't even open to Vic player (if I had it) or any other program I might or might not have. It goes straight to DIVX.

ok download vlc player from the link I provided.
Install it and open it, then drag and drop the video file into vlc player- make sure you have your volume switched ON! Mad

I thought you already had a vid file that kept opening in divx? Suspect

If you have a vid already just open vlc and drag and drop the video file into it and press play.

If you stil have to extract the files, right click and if there is no extract here- use extract to selected folder or whatever it was you said the option was.
