There are one or two scenes where the synch is out- it should be ok for 90% of it or thereabouts.

If it really annoys you you can always adjust the synch manually as you watch by going to tools/track syncronisation. That will open a box and you can adjust the synch by adjusting the audio track synch (usually either 0.001s or -0.001s should be enough either way).

If you have a vid already just open vlc and drag and drop the video file into it and press play.

If you still have to extract the files, right click and if there is no extract here- use extract to selected folder or whatever it was you said the option was.

I just extracted to The Hobbit (I think) and a icon-thingee come up that l;ooked like abit of film. I clicked and got a better result, but with voices out-sync unfortunately!

I'll try the 'selected file this time. (Maybe I should trade in my timber computer for one of those new plastic ones. It's just, they do look so manufactured!)

Are you skipping about throught the film checking bits by any chance?

If thats so that is why the sound is out- if you watch it from the start without jumping ahead the sound will be fine.

A consequence of converting it I think so many times, when you skip it cant seem to keep track of where the soundtrack should be.

Try watching from the begining and tell me if the sound is ok.

I'll persist, Petty --- but things bettr improve after all the trouble you've had me go to - and what with the sun shining outside and me full of vim and vigour with not one ounce of tiredness!

Just watch it from the begining without skipping ahead any and tell me if that works- it should.
The sound will go increasingly out of synch the further ahead in the film you jump to (and then youll have to manual realign it) but if you watch from the start it should be fine.

Just open vlc player and drag and drop the file in it- doesnt mater which version of vlc it is any bloody one will do!!! (but Id go for the laterverison which will be the 2 one)
