Glorfindel isnt really in LotR's- not enough to do anything worth giving to another character- besides they already did that giving his role to Arwen.

Nimrodel and Amroth only make it in if I remember rightly in a song Legolas sings on the eaves of Lothlorien beside the Nimrodel stream- and they did say it was something from LotR's they didnt get into the films- so I doubt its appendix material they are talking about.

Gothmog merits a whopping one sentence in LOTR yet he became one of the most important antagonists in the film version of ROTK.

That's very true Eldo, but from how its phrased- 'There was a story that both Fran and I loved in The Lord of the Rings'- implies more than a one word reference- its needs to be something that would count as a 'story'. No?

We dont know it is Nimrodel -Eldo just suggsted that- I suppose if it were Tauriel would have a love affair and her lover would be leaving ME and she gets left behind- hard to see how it fits into TH though.

If its in relation to Tauriel it is unlikely to be in film 1.

but if Beorn isn't going to be shown, then no, probably not. no Mirkwood until the second one (I was really looking forward to Mirkwood)... I am going to be dissapointed of how little new things we're gonna see..

maybe Tauriel is in the first movie??.. or mabe not... they have like... one woman for each film. for film 1 they bring in Galadriel, for the second Tauriel... the third one we have bard and bendy-dick-cum-on-my-babs so that's okay.

she would've been to the premiere otherwise.. forget it.
