did we see the same photo? cause it looks like its still on the right hand side of his face to me. Maybe we'll get lucky and they will film most of Radagast's scenes from his left hand side sothe Bird crap is less obvious

The random rhythmic changes in the shire theme don't seem to have any useful purpose to me - even if you had never heard the melody before you'd feel the need to 'fix' it.

I am not gonna listening to anything els of TH music until after the film. I wanna be surprised. I've heard the main theme though

Yeah, Howard Shore saying "this is a different movie, I should make the melodies a little different". That would be fine if they were true theme and variation type of changes, but they're not. They are thrown in with no inner logic. variations should sound complete on their own.

I liked it much better than the Radagast song, and the I didn't like the main theme either, it sounded like he used a keyboard/synthesizer instead of actual violins...
