Re: Harry Potter
Has there been any mention on this thread of the work of Neil Ciceriega?
I know the "Mysterious Ticking Noise" would be the only thing most people would know of him, but some of the Yuletide Ball puppet shows he does can be found online. I find them greatly entertaining, anyway.

And now there was nothing but the roofs of houses, sweeping along like a great torrent of stones and rocks. Chimney-pots fell, and tiles flew from the roofs..."

Re: Harry Potter
I loved Potter Puppet Pals when I was younger and HP was coming out, but I'm kind of afraid to go back and watch them now cause I watched one a year or two ago and it seemed kind of dumb to me now.
*botherbotherbother*
Edit: they're "I'm Too Sexy" flash animation is still a classic.

Re: Harry Potter
Can't remember If I posted this or not.
Unreleased Deleted Scenes (i.e scenes shot for the film never included in the film, or released on home video )
There is also the deleted scenes from the DVD's as well:
Extended editions please (considering Order of The Phoneix had almost a hour cut apparently there is alot of footage lying around...)

Re: Harry Potter
Is it just me or did the script for DH Part 1 sorta suck? Easily the most faithful, but arguably the worst-nothing was explained!
I do like the film alot, and it's possibly my fave book (it's a tie with Azkaban and HBP) but I'm currently watching it on TV and I can easily see why non readers wouldn't have a clue what is going on-No mention of Bill and Fleur's prior history or importance before they come out of knowhere (Same for Scrimgeour and Mundungus)-why would casual viewers be interested in their wedding? Why not jus show Lupin and Tonk's? ('Oh yeah let's not mention our son who gets named checked in Part 2'), no explanation for the broken mirror or the dumbledore article, or why Hagrid has a random flying Motorbike, no explanation for how Snape's patronus finds Harry in the forest, no explanation for who steals the sword, no explanation for Bathilda Bagshot, Aunt Muriel or Elphias Dodge-they jus turn up to mention some random stuff. All the cool stuff-Regulus and Scrimgeour's deaths were talked about not shown, Godric's Hollow didn't either bother to properly show Potter and Dumbledore family tombs.
Hmm.

the film was so dark and dingy Yates probably hoped nobody would notice. I thought DH 1 and 2 were cack handed with some relatively cool images sprinkled in, loved the Dragon and Luna Lovegoods house, Dumbledore in 'heaven' and the magical protection sphere over Hogwarts, and most of all Nevilles moment of glory with Nagini, but mostly though there were long boring sections like when they all go tenting, and I dislike the way the Burrow looked, it certainly wasnt a swamp. But for me all Yates films lack that HP magic they had in Azkaban and the first 2 films.

Yeah, from what I've seen of him he comes across as well reflected and level headed.
