You do know if you had put this on in th ebackground you could have watched it by now Eldo!!! I will get you to see Who somehow even if I have to eventually get on a bloody plane and come over there and kidnap you and make you watch the bloody thing!

I did start it but I got distracted by the drama in the BBSF (which isn't being very serious at the moment, I'm afraid ). It was ... weird, and would probably make more sense if I knew who the characters were.

It'll be a nice kidnapping with Who and buckie laid on- I'll probably even let him go without first demanding a ransom (assuming my buckie supply doesn't need topped up).

Stop being distracted then!!!! Weird? Not dull you mean? Intriguing? Unlike other tv- thats Who alright.

Although you really should start with t11th hour Eldo as its Smiths first turn and Who an provides a lot of back stroy to this series. But as this was the episode they pushed in the US seemd it might appeal more.

11th Hour- not the best of the stories in this series but it is the 'intro' to SMiths doctor and a perfect starting point.(Given the 30 odd series to choose from). Who has influenced anime so you should be right at home.

I don't really watch TV in general so I don't have much of a frame of reference. Most of what I do watch is animated anyway; either U.S. rip-offs of The Simpsons or anime. Although I did love Yes Minister so who knows.

I love Yes minister, but Who is better and thats saying something. No more excuses 11th hour awaits young Eldo- all characters nicelt introduced.

First part was pretty good but BBC Worldwide has blocked the subsequent parts in the U.S. and it's too late to go poking around through YouTube for the rest of the episode. Will try to find it some other time.

Checked all parts quickly and all seems to be there- in slightly longer chunks so youll need to find where you were in part 1.

I am soooooooo excited. Trying to remember about the machine in the James Corban ep as he is back this season, and wondered if this plays into the overall arc?

And just finished watching this week Torchwood episode, much better I would say, back to Jack and Gwen, less blowing things up and action sequences. And loved the peak into Jacks past, the passing Doctor and companions reference, (and the seduction which I thought was cleverly done!) Just makes me cross that it's taken this long!

Very much my feeling on Torchwood. 6 wasted episodes and 1 good one is not a great ratio however, but at least this felt like it was Torchwood. And I agree the seduction and falling in love were nicely played out I loved the lines after Jack asked Angelo back into the bed just to talk and lie together after they had sex.

Jack- "Have you done this before?"
Angelo- "The first bit yes, this bit no."

Said so much about the character. Makes the sex scene in episode 3 seem all the more crass and unnecessary.

You need to watch Torchwood!

Well this episode was. Watch Torchwood Children of Earth instead- only 5 episodes and really good.

Okay, you need to watch episode seven, specifically the section in the room, watching the woman across the street!

Yeah that was some good writing and Barrowan stepped up to the mark in the acting stakes for it too.

I'm not interested in unnatural sexual practices --- I'll have one peek though, to prove I'm open minded ------- oh I can see why you'd like it, Kafria, two gorgeous men, and you too, Petty, considering your propensities --- but not my kind of thing --- I'll watch it again later to confirm my distaste... I have to say I think the seduction dialogue would work just as well if it was a heterosexual pairing, it is that I particlarly like in this.

Yes, I clicked through it, and probably missed out on the pathos or romance or point, but I have trouble watching homosexual sex. I prefer natural sex, like when two women are getting it on. I guess one is what one is. I hope it's alright to be what one is... however unfashionable.

Kafria, does the sight of two men turn you on? I'm not trying to be a smartarse (for a change). I'm curious. My wife tells me two men or two women turns her off. I'm not turned off by two men, but I do get squeamish and it really does nothing for me. Two women getting it on (attractive, of course, otherwise it's clearly wrong) is very titillating, as I joked above (so long as it's done tastefully - I'm a romantic - sex is always kind of secondary). Do you have the same interest in two attractive men?
