SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

Amy turned out to be one of those clones (I think?). The real Amy was in some place giving birth to a child, and that eye-patch woman was there too.

Got to the end yet Ringdrotten? And what about you GB? Where you at in the series (assuming you kept watching-you didn't seem to be overly enjoying it).

I've got an exam tomorrow (the last one), so I'll save the last episode for tomorrow. A cold beer or a big bottle of coke and the final episode of Doctor Who - should be a nice celebration Very Happy

I am not surprised Laughing The forum does seem to pull me away from what I'm supposed to be doing all the time. But perhaps that's not such a bad thing - it's an exam in Oral English, so it's all good practice Very Happy

Good luck today in your exam Ringdrotten (and to anyone else out there in forumshire who may have exams -except Mirabella- she's proof that passing exams is not always a good thing!).

Quote from an interview with Arthur Darvill (Rory) whose appearing in Marlowes Faustus at the Globe;

'I'm so excited the second half of the series that's coming up - what Steven [Moffat] has done is something quite brilliant - it's really going to surprise people."
More than the suprise in the last episode?
"Oh that's nothing!" he laughs.

Is it Autumn yet? Mad

SPOILERS

What's the deal with the Doctor and River? Got the impression she was his mother for a little while there, but that cannot be true. And how can she be Amy's daughter? Shocked You say she's in the preceding series too?

Trying to decide which to recommend next- last series or Rivers first episode. Probably Rivers first episode. You can find it here; http://www.123video.nl/playvideos.asp?MovieID=763333
Same writer (Moffatt) different Doctor (Tennant) and companion.

Spoilers!!!!!!!!

Yup River is Amy and Rory's daughter, conceived in the Tardis during flight through the Time Stream (the Untempered Schism). Exactly how she ends up where she ends up we don't know yet, but given she was conceived in a Time Machine the fact her parents first meet her as a grown women should not maybe be a suprise.

Yup it is. Wait till you see how it all began several years ago with River and how good Alex Kingston performance is. Bear in mind as your watching it with the advantage of hindsight her speech to Rory about her 'darkest hour' th day thats coming when the Doctor wont know who she is and then weep inside with pain at the look on her face in this episode as it happens . Now to set something up several years before you use it, thats clever writing.

Gawd, I've been nagging my mother to buy the boxset of Dr Who for ages now. Sometimes there are so many distractions (shouting at inadequate family members orders such as "SHUT THE CURTAIN" OR "TURN THAT LIGHT OFF"- which nearly always result in my lengthy explanation about the glare on the TV screen Mad) that you miss a few things and sometimes the episode are so great you have to watch them again!

Sometimes in life you have to demand respect for things- watching Doctor Who is such a time!

Did you give the first River episode a go yet Ringdrotten?
