As a secondary game- can you pick out the Americans from the Scots?

The American girls are wearing pants and Scot boys are wearing dresses.

'skirts' and 'kilts' look surprisingly similar under the influence of bucky.

I'm banking on the hairiness of Scotsmen to keep me out of trouble. Some parts of a woman should not look fuzzy no matter how much is flowing through the system!

Some footage from a damp march past this year at Cowal Games.
And to remove any remaining fun from the event the police decided this year the drum majors couldnt throw their maces and catch them on health and safety grounds- fortunetly most of the drum majors ignored them.

The home teams- The Cowal Pipe Band being graded- they won! Tales of Home [1] - Page 4 2217289918

And the local school

And just to finish on something different- the ceilidh tent. Wooooop! drunken

Tales of Home [1] - Page 4 Empty Re: Tales of Home [1]

Post by Norc Wed Sep 19, 2012 9:37 pm

this is the story when little Norc suddenly saw a meteoritt. She was gazing up upon the night sky because the northern lights were dancing so beutifully on it. Never seen them so early she thought. Suddenly the sky was pierced by a sudden flame. A meteoritt flew across the green ribbons with a tail so long and firery, so sparkling with fizzling energy that Norc could almost here it burn. Then, as soon as it had started it dissapeared behind a roof and over a little cliff. Norc suddenly understood what had happened and darted off after it, but it was gone. She thought back, it had stayed in the sky for about four of five seconds... it must've been really low... it must've... it must've landed somewhere on the mountain. It had stayed in the sky for four of five seconds, it had been really low and slow. She slowly understood what she had seen. a meteorit. a low meteoritt who had landed on earth. Norc felt her heart pumping.. It wasn't a falling star as she had seen so many times when the meteor showers had arrived and she had travelled far out of the city to look at them. It wasn't many of them, it wasn't little and it wasn't gone in a flash. This, she understood, was something that rarely happened and that rarely was seen... The odd thing was.. this was her second time..then she ran home with adrenaline pumping through her veins... so she could tell her friends about it.

The doctor? Did it bring some intergalactic flu that will cause your eyes to turn blue and go stumbling around taking over the world from the clueless earthlings? alien We can always hope.

You mean have the Swedes taken over the world? Not yet at least. Inroads in the furniture sector are somewhat troubling but that's about it so far.

Now Norc thats not very nice. What if some nice Swedishire hobbit was to happen by Forumshire and see that? (They might even be a pretty blonde female one with their own sauna and ensuite bar! bounce ).
What if they heard you going on like that? What then?
They might not want to stay and sell us their melted cheese thats what!
