Excellent Norc! Particular like the plinky bit (excuse my use of technical music terms!) about the 3 minute mark
But while you were all there with insruments you didnt play I am the Doctor?
{{{And exactly how many different instruments can you play? Its so unfair! }}}
it's called pizzicato, but you're not far off we played a song only with pizz and it was called "plink, plank, plonk".
As i've said, i have sheets form I am the doctor, but i need ro re-arrange the whole piece so it'll fit four instruments rather than eight and that is a lot of work and yeah... it's on my list x) (I only play viola and violin which is quite similar except the key and size and strings )

thanks ^^ well, it's work in progress, but yeah
Re: Tales of Home [1]
So your own arrangement, huh? Pretty good.
I like how you balance on one toe the whole time.

Norc is going to be a star- there is an easy way to tell a natural star- she is the only one who instinctively knows where the camera is.

Re: Tales of Home [1]
yes, avalange.. it's been alot lately... terrible statistics, just for this region.
Re: Tales of Home [1]
Been a really bad year here too for avalanches- more deaths in avalanches this year than in the last ten.

Re: Tales of Home [1]
Beautiful Norc!
There wasn't quite as much snow at the time I was there, but I met it farther north.
Here's a picture I took of my favorite ferry, with your town in the background I think. She was a wonderful old workhorse with only one propeller. She set the anchor almost every time we docked so she could kedge off the dock when we departed.
I suppose she's out of service now...

Re: Tales of Home [1]
Cool! I'd love to think the Harald Jarl is still sailing. It's not just that it was a wonderful old boat, but the crew were amazing in how they handled her, and the old grey beards drinking at the bar were a hoot! It felt like family!
That was 13 years ago. I don't have many pictures of that trip. It was an old disposable film camera and the lens shutter kept freezing in the cold. I'll take a look and see if there are any that aren't too horrible.
I do have the clipping of the article the newspaper wrote about me when I passed through Stockholm though. I'll take out my last name because this is the internet.

Yeah, I reduced the file size so it wouldn't take an hour to upload on my dial-up connection, but it came out pretty blurry. {{I hope you won't hold my Sverige farmor och mormor against me now. }}
I'll look for those pictures later, but I don't make any promises.
