A bottle of buckie versus a rude veg!

OK, you're on, but we need a moderator to pick a fair date and time to start. Also definition of horizontal. What would you like? Greater than 45%? Greater than 60%? A true 90 is hard to come by without updrafts.

45 degrees sounds about right to me.

(Although I should warn you there may some hassles in paying up if I lose, not just the thought of giving up buckie but Ive encountered a problem or two trying to send buckie to Halfwise- seems the US import laws arent keen on buckie for some reason- I may have to send it in disguise!)

I can't prove it yet D: that's the bad thing, my camera doesn't pick up on falling snow, and as it doesn't stay on the ground, it's impossible! I|m hoping for downfall during the night, because then I might wake up to winter-wonder land and take a photo. I haven't won yet

I have proof now and I must say, I didn't know it would snow the day after I anounced the competition, I just had a hunch, because it was so cold and all. Here's the proof anyways. I expect a nice price

well short of you bringing in some snow to Scotshobbitland before it melts I guess I shall take your word for it and concede - and would you know after taking David on in a horizontal rain challenge what happens? Endless blue skies and sunshine!

I Bloody hate snow. Its 25 degrees here and thats fine by me.

er not here, it gets snowy and scary here in January.

just to inform you, it's like winter wonder land now! and when I get up at seven in the morning, it's dark as the freaking night. and it will get worse.

No snow here- but pretty damn dark till about 7.30ish here too.

I hate that. Get up at 6:15 to travel to London and it is still dark when I get in the office. Well, actually the last few days I havent been able to see the next building (which is Barclays so dont want to see them anyway) because of fog.

I am at ground level today though and can see perfectly well in to my garden!!

Will suck even more when clocks change at the weekend and soon enough I will be going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark!!

It's 8:10 am. Barely light enough to read a newspaper outside if you could keep it dry, and I'm just about to put on full rain gear and head out for another day of harvesting in steady rain with thunder storms forecast.

I still haven't seen the rain at an angle of more than 30 degrees, but it's coming..... I know it's coming......

Damn you to Angband David- my weather is betraying me- clear crisp days and blue skies- its not right at all!!
But when it comes it will be horizontal!!
