That teaser doesn't actually include any new content. Still, pretty good for hype.

Dany doesn't seem to be taking things so seriously.

I prefer the Expanse (Written among others by the guy who set up George RR Martin's state of the art Wordstar running DOS computer.) Nod

Yeah, I should apologize, to be honest I'm so outta touch with this show at the moment, I'm not sure why I even commented Razz But why not have some old traded barbs, for old good times's sake, eh Wink

Watch The Expanse though, it's almost as great as the books Smile

What is that throne Dany is sitting on? Have we seen it yet?

If I had felt the inevitability of GoT the same way I felt the inevitability of LotR, I might agree with you. But I feel the greater loss in LotR; I don't feel GoT strayed as far in getting the feeling right.

That throne is probably going to be found in Dragonstone. It makes sense to me that Danaerys would go to the original seat of her family, or whatever the lore is.

Four #GameOfThrones spin-offs are being considered:

They still have the hedge knight series of stories to work with, though I haven't read them myself. Or they could do the Star Wars expanded universe route; there's plenty to fill in.

The hedge knight books are great, halfy, you'll like them I think. Fast reads too compared to ASOIAF.

Talking about them reminded me to put in my order, so I will be reading them in the not distant future.
