Fantastic Ringo ! Ive not bought my home, Ive always rented from the council. Have not been in a position to be able to buy, tho if I could I would have ! Id love to own my own home ! I still believe its one of the best things you can do. Sadly in the UK its harder & tougher for people to be able to buy. Thresholds are more & more expensive squeezing 1st time buyers right out. The deposits in this country are unattainable. And then you hear your neighbour say..."I bought my home for £500" it makes you feel faint Smile ( £500 just after the war that is Smile )

I like looking at a local history page on FaceBook & this is my town dated 1850-60. Its so tiny, not like now. Its slowly spreading out to join its neighbours Smile

thanks guys. He was a sweet cat. He was an outdoors cat and we rarely saw much of him until recently when he became ill, by all accounts they get aids from bites when they are fighting other male cats so females don't get it as much.

This morning was bitterly cold. As I took Simi round the roads the thick frost crunched loudly & there was no one to hear it only me. It was like Narnia in places, & the sun as it rose, gave off a funny light that you don't get here usually. It reminded me of the light in Italy when I used to visit. The atmosphere felt as tho it was waiting, waiting for something to happen now Christmas is over. Funny old morning but, I'm glad I saw it. I'm getting to like Winter a bit more these days.
