Re: Tales of Home [7]
Not been on here for a while, ripped a tendon in my arm and could be off work for 6 months.
Had surgery 3 weeks ago and have been told not to lift anything for 12 weeks.
Not easy doing everything with your left hand.
Should have left that last line out i can hear Azriel brain from here.

Sorry to hear about that, chris. Hope the surgery went off without complications and that your recovery will be less than six months total. Though if it is, I'm sure you'll be practically ambidextrous by the end of it.

Thanks Eldo.
Would give my right arm to be ambidextrous

Re: Tales of Home [7]
I suppose a tendon is different from a rotator cuff; the standard recovery in that case is to give up and develop other muscles to compensate. But if they repaired it that's good news. Meanwhile, enjoy War and Peace...

Sorry to hear that Chris.
You'd better take special care of that left arm now.
There's some things you just can't do with your feet....

It's kinda odd when you think about it, why advertise the fact that you serve good beer/food....isn't that to be expected anyway?

Most of the pubs where I live are either sh*t, unwelcoming, expensive or awakward to get to (for someone who dosen't drive)...there's always weathspoons I suppose...

Re: Tales of Home [7]
never go into a Mancunian pub in flipflops. it can result in losing your streetcred and de-hoofing. Picture a Summers day and I walk into a bar to buy Lager and Lime for chums, the carpet is so sticky in fermenting beer that my flipflops get stuck to the floor and I walk out of them to the hilarity of the other punters. I had to peel the buggers off the carpet.

Re: Tales of Home [7]
What does 5/7 mean?
I think the major credit you get here is not the cutting of the hair so much as developing enough trust that your room-mate would have you do it.
