I heard that also Headlines on the papers..Briton set for Artic Conditions...Snow at Easter ! I remember as a child eating Easter eggs with the lovely clean bright light of thickly laid snow coming thru the window. And when the sun shone it really lit the place up, I loved it

Re: Tales of Home [7]
{{{So, I am walking to work, is very early and still very dark- but clear and bright. One star in particular is very bright, almost certainly because it was a planet, so I wondered, can my camera pick it up- so I took this snap-
I wonder how much it can zoom in on it I mused, and so I zoomed the camera to its maximum magnification and got this shot-
Interesting thought I, wonder if its good enough to pick up just stars, and so I snapped this shot-
Which was when I noticed an odd set of lights moving across the sky, to my unzooming eyes it looked like it was triangular shaped, with a point of light at each point of the triangle but I zoomed the camera half way in and got this shot with details I couldn't see with the naked eye-
So I zoomed in on it to the maximum magnification, but this made holding it view, and finding it again once lost very tricky in a black sky and I only got one more good shot of it in frame before it shot off, and here it is-
And a bit brighter-
I am going for it being a Klingon Bird of Prey myself
}}}}}
Any guesses at to what it is?

50 feet in the air in hurricane force winds working with high voltage wiring as it rains sideways and trees fall around you? No thanks!

Re: Tales of Home [7]
I know a couple of linemen. Great folks with a zest for life, but if there's a major storm anywhere within 200 miles you'll find they suddenly disappear. During epic blackouts linemen will converge from all over the country, especially if it's winter and lives are in danger.
