Wonder how much it cost to train Liv Tyler for all the sword play and stunts ( I think in one of the commentaries it mentions weeks of training), then all the actual shooting they did with her on set. and thats just one example of complete and utter waste on a terrible idea in first place

The changes in pupil size between Gollum/Smeagol wasn't reported anywhere else that I know of. Nice pictures of Viggo and his horses.

The stunt/size doubles for the Hobbits probably also spent alot more time on set than you'd think, so many crew members on these films didn't get the attention or praise they deserved i.m.o...

E.g the various 2nd unit/splinter unit directors filmed a huge amount of footage (including many of the pivotal character scenes) for the trilogy, playing a much more prominent role than second units usually do in big studio films (typically limited to shooting coverage/establishing shots/action sequences).

I'm glad his story is getting out, even if woefully late.
