Same comments as before to answer the same comments as before. No point in rehashing it all again.

Yes, that is less important. More important to me is the show runners seemingly taking the route of a sociopath. Ignoring criticism for just long enough for it to die down. Then go out, all guns blazing, claiming the opposite of what those people who were criticizing you said is true...

I'm not really sure what you're trying to say here. Does not changing their approach (which, let us remember, has brought them great success, fame, and wealth) because there is a minority of people on the Internet who hate them with a baffling amount of vitriol make D&D sociopathic in your mind? Not really sure what you mean by the "all guns blazing" line. Of course D&D disagree with their critics; do they have a limited amount of time in which they're allowed to express this? Not that the article you posted was about any recent comments D&D was made; it was a response to what some of the actors (mainly Emilia Clarke) had said.

- speculation that is probably true:
- Jon Targaryen, I assume. As per the R+L=J theory.

No, their way of handling criticism seems borderline sociopathic to me. They've ignored the criticism for a year. Refused to approach or react to it in even its mildest, least incendiary, forms. (They skipped Comicon, and have left it to others in the organization, who has for better or worse tried, to defend it.) And suddenly when the show returns all the promotional material promotes the view of the show as some paragon of feminism. You might not feel the same way, but, to be honest, I find it insulting to the intelligence.

Re: Game of Thrones [2]
I'd say correct on both posts, Eldo. Sorry Blue.
I should say this may explain D&D's behavior, without necessarily defending it. Though I don't think they need nearly as much defense as the over the top vitriol suggests. (Or the tormented attempts to twist every last thing into a negative. I think there must be same past dating history or something).

Re: Game of Thrones [2]
I'd say it's not been very subtle. And if you've heard, read, seen any promotional material for the show this time around without hearing the word "feminism" or the phrase "strong female characters" you've not been paying attention.
And thanks for backing up my point with that final comment, Halfwise..

Re: Game of Thrones [2]
My final comment was aimed at the critics, not D&D. Though I guess it could still back up the point as seeming sexist.

Re: Game of Thrones [2]
Yes, and that puts you well in line with how D&D deal with the criticism. (So, thank you for making my point for me.)

Re: Game of Thrones [2]
D&D don't need to defend themselves over non existent sexism, why should they pander to the ridiculous criticisms.
