Thanks Blue- great work.

Ok first big decision we have to make- in previous years I have made a list of nominees for each category- should it be the same this year or should everyone be eligible for every category?

Hmm, good question, this year it seems the Least/Most crabbit is going to be a much harder category to vote in, everyone seems to have got so disillusioned with the third film, it's going to be close, the lines between Liberal/Purist have been quite blurred when it comes to TH trilogies reception, so would we be taking that into account?

I'm not overly aware of how much interest/notoriety the Ambassadors have drummed up this year, though I have an Inkling your reputation may proceed you on TORn Petty Laughing would we be voting for 'Best' Ambassador in the sense of nicest, busiest person, or in the sense of the one who has done the most to put Forumshire on the map?

I've only watched DOS and BOTFA once and I'm not likely to rewatch them any time soon so my memory is kinda hazy.

Are we going to have any new categories to cover the whole trilogy/PJ franchise? It's the end we have to celebrate acknowledge it somehow...

I think the dislike for TH trilogy makes the categories tighter, harder to pick who to vote for, but they should still stand.

As to why you vote for an Ambassador- that one is in the eye of the voter- you can vote for the reasons you best see fit.

I do think its a good idea to have some sort of reflection of the entire set of 6 films.

Perhaps a vote for the best of the 6?

Maybe have a few different questions;

1. Best Adapatation of the book in the angle Jackson was taking (in the sense of making it work as a coherent action adventure film-alot of the criticisms I have come from the perspective of the book, once you acknowledge (however reluctantly Evil or Very Mad Extremely Crabbit ) what Jackson was trying to do it's harder to say which works the best as a blockbuster

2.Most Faifthful Adaptation (This is tricky for me, FOTR reflected the spirit of the book, but AUJ captured most of the story beats)

3.Best Film

4.Most unintentionally hilarious

Coming this Sunday from Pure Publications sponsored by the Buckie Brewing Wizards of Forumshire- the nominees for the 2014 Forumshire Awards.

Behind the scenes gossip on this years show.

Dig out the tux, pull on the glad-rags, hoist up the bustles for the start of the ceremony of the year.
With your ever reluctant and increasingly drunk host Petty Tyrant and is ravishing, incarcerated lose moraled sister Pretty keeping an eye on the Red Carpet and the contenders, and especially their partners, and their wallets, don't miss the Forumshire event of the year!

Well all I know is they got short shift trying to interview me, I'm too bloody busy in rehearsals. Mad
Incidentally its not too late for any of you musical types to submit a tune for the show. But sooner the better on that front.
