She doesn't appear, however Jaime goes missing after apparently seeing her and going off somewhere.

Yup! Stannis! {{{He better not die. }}}

Those are two shows I'd never be able to watch with my parents. You east-coast liberals!

I wasn't sure how it would go TBH. My mom and step-mom are critical of some of the ways lesbian relationships are portrayed in Orange, but all in all it went okay. With GOT, my mom was most bothered by Bran's fall (she was like "that was fucked up! you like this show?" after it happened) and my step-mom by Lady's death (she actually walked away before it happened). I'm not sure if I'll be able to convince them to keep watching, though even if I can't, I'll continue the rewatch on my own.
Re: A Song of Ice and Fire [2]
My parents would be offended by the fact that the show features lesbian relationships.
Hmmm, and what about Breaking Bad, Eldo?

No "but's" about it, he is the rightful king. And a complete bad-ass.

That will likely be what we watch after Game of Thrones. Fortunately, everyone seems to be enjoying GOT so far. We only watched one episode tonight but my mom seems to have been able to overcome her aversion to fantasy. She likes Dany so far and said she was glad she was sticking up to Viserys (though she's having trouble remembering all the names), but she's afraid that Dany will die. I'm keeping my mouth shut since I'm curious to see what someone watching the show completely blind thinks.

The rightful heir to a usurper, maybe. {{{Definitely a badass though. }}}
Re: A Song of Ice and Fire [2]
An usurper? Wasn't it a rebellion against the conquering targaryens that they were rebelling against?
Re: A Song of Ice and Fire [2]
If by "conquer" you mean "forge the Seven Kingdoms into a single prosperous realm, ending centuries if not millennia of bloody internecine warfare", then yes.

Nobody knows. But it probably wasn't 'Arya' since they never managed to meet.

Re: A Song of Ice and Fire [2]
I have a theory that Aemon Targaryan was talking about Lady Olenna in episode 9 when he mentioned to Sam the lady he had been in love with when he was young.
Lady Olenna told Sansa that she was originally going to marry a Targaryan but didnt like his ridiculous White hair so married a Tyrell instead, I bet it was Aemon.

I think you can find out what the word was with a bit of looking on t ' Internet.
I have another theory... but only half of it had any basis. I think that the second dragon rider (actually, probably third) will be Bran. I also think one may end up being Asha Greyjoy.

I was just thinking what word could possibly matter to a vengeful reanimated corpse of a dead women who has seen her kid slaughtered in front of her, and I thought maybe its the name of one of her children.

Re: A Song of Ice and Fire [2]
I went over to my sister's house for the GoT season finale a bit early and found her and my niece watching Vampire Diaries. It was incredibly bad looking, so I suggested they try out Breaking Bad now that GoT is over for the season. She said she quit Breaking Bad because she needs attractive young people in her tv shows and couldn't take any more Walter in his Whities.

And now there was nothing but the roofs of houses, sweeping along like a great torrent of stones and rocks. Chimney-pots fell, and tiles flew from the roofs..."

No, all you can find is people's bad guesses on t'internet. (Screaming 'sword' won't help because Stoneheart is not in earshot at the time).
I don't fancy Bran being a dragon rider. He's sort of stuck in a tree.

Re: A Song of Ice and Fire [2]
Halfy - from what I have read, that was confirmed by GRRM
Also, re Bran, both Jojen and the tree man have said he will never walk again, but he will fly. Not sure if he will physically ride a dragon or warm one but I think that is what it is getting at. Either that or a boring crow.

Re: A Song of Ice and Fire [2]
I always assumed that the "you will fly" thing was about warging/crows. I can't really see Bran being a dragon rider. Then again, there's a large segment of the fandom who are convinced that Tyrion will become a dragon rider, so who the hell knows?
For what it's worth, Martin has said that the "three heads of the dragon" are not necessarily all going to be Targaryens. There have also been non-Targ dragon riders glimpsed in the historical novellas that Martin has published in anthologies.
