Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
Yeah, I thought it deserved it's own post. Rather than be a parenthesis in another.
There's a lot of great stuff in that part. Sherlocks drunk deducting is another.
I loved the whole bachelor party bit, (might have said that before ) it gave a real good insight into the characters, their personalities and their relationship. As opposed to the after wedding bit, which I thought got a bit oversentimental. But it's quite clear in hindsight that that was meant as a build up to the third episode.

Haha, yeah.
Though not actually on tumblr ... yet.
(Come to think of it that makes finding these gifs all the more difficult. So maybe I should as well be. )

Talking about a drunk Benedict Cumberbatch. Did you read what I wrote about the espresso martinis?

Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
I just wondered if it had become a thing with Cumberbatch fans, after Ed Sheeran said he, Benedict and Luke Evans got drunk on it.
I think I even posted a recipe.

Yeah, Ed Sheeran mentioned it in that interview where he describes how Benedict is like drunk.
https://youtu.be/7GbbD2bYVAc?t=1m28s
"I got taken out last night by Luke Evans and Benedict Cumberbatch, and we drank a lot of esopresso martinis..."
But I'm guessing you would be aware of it, if it had become a drink for the Cumberbatch fans.
A drink yes. Recipe:

Well, let me know if you give it a go. It doesn't sound too bad actually.
Anything that needs a 8 minutes plus instruction video sounds complicated. I'll give it a look though.

Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
the thing about tumblr is that u can scroll down and see lots of nice photos of dogs and forests and mountains, like this:
and then suddenly BOOM there is weird shit like this.
like i know i follow these people, but i don't follow them for that .. i follow them because they 99% of the time reblog sherlock gifs, analyses or nicely edited sherlock pictures. this is the reason i don't tumblr at school...anymore.

Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
... they just have some wierd tastes. Yeah, I get what you mean.
Like your signature, by the way. First I thought, this new thing Benedict is in looks interesting. Then I realised, he's just a natural conductor.

Unless they are trolling you. In which case one should perhaps commend them on their humour.
Somehow the other solution seems more likely.

Sorry to not have responded to that. I did write something, but then I thought maybe I'll say it better in the mroning. And then I forgot..
Actually, I was thinking about making a thread to explain exactly that.
This is what i wrote, anyway:
Peter Cook was an extremely influential figure in modern British comedy, and is regarded as the leading light of the British satire boom of the 1960s.
You can hear it from Monthy Python here:
Or just listen to Martin Freeman:

And you can try this, if you've got 4 minutes.
