i don't support that kind of stuff.

You might need something to soothe yourself If you did get some "interesting" shots of Benny Kumbiyah-my dear-kumbiyah.....calm down the old heart rate ?

What if she could get you a completely consentual sidewalk photo of him holding up a poster saying "Hello Norc. Have a nice day."?
(Come to think of it, he probably would if he got asked too. He seems such a nice guy.)

I would also recommend seeing them, Malick, even though I strongly disagree that there was anything classic Holmes about the third episode (or season, for that matter) I find it interesting how this show splits the Sherlock Holmes fanbase, as opposed to The Hobbit, which just splits the Tolkien and Jackson fanbases. Would be interesting to hear your opinion as well.

and also, i must say since i posted the article, i don't think sherlock was norwegian, it's just a fun theory and the article made me giggle cus it is a ver norwegian thing to do
i think Sherlock would pull it off, and conan doyle was probably inspired by Nansen and Amundsen, but i think holmes would have had problems with the dialects..
Yeah, me neither. It's just a silly theory.
Though, as I said, it does at least have more basis in Conan Doyle than Eldos theory.
And the nice thing about dialects is that there are so many.

It seems to me that a permanent scowl and an occasional growled obscenity could cover "language and culture" for weeks at a time. Am I wrong?
Only if the obscenity is growled with the correct accent.
Ah, but which of the many Norwegian accents is the correct one? You have so many!
(actually I have a serious question behind this. I'll take it over to the Kaffistove so as not to norc Norc's Cucumber thread.)

Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]

Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
Certainly sounds that way.

Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
Ah, should have read a bit better. That's from January 14th. So it's the same story that we discussed before?
Still, it's good news in the right direction. And I dont't really have any doubts the BBC wants it back next Christmas. Just a questiion of wether the people involved have time.
Hypable article it quotes is here:
